Top 4 tips to prevent road rage!

1.Get your sleep!

Most of the time, when we get angry easily it’s because we haven’t gotten enough sleep. Get at least eight hrs so you can function in the morning. You’re no good to anyone if you are tired!

2.Plan

Majority of the time you get road rage because you are running late. Plan your day starting in the morning. If you know it takes a half hr to get to work plan on leaving 45 min a head of time. Just in case you run into traffic, you won’t be late.

3.Turn down the volume

When you have the radio or music on full blast, it is a huge distraction. You can’t hear everything that goes on around you. Therefore you cut off someone or someone may cut you off.

4.Take a breath.

As with anything, breathing can calm you immensely. It is hard to relax when in the hussle and bussle of the morning or afternoon commute but you need to. You’ll be surprised on how much one deep breath can ease your spirit.

Road rage is really just a waste of your energy. Why bother yelling at someone who cut you off if they just keep on going not even hearing you. Really… think about it.
