There's a report that Too Short has been arrested for DUI. 

TMZ.com reports the 46-year-old rapper and producer was arrested in Los Angeles early Wednesday morning after police pulled over his vehicle for an unspecified traffic violation and suspected Short of being under the influence.  TMZ further reports that Short tried to run from police when they attempted to administer a breathalyzer test, but he was quickly apprehended after he tripped. 

Police reportedly added felony narcotics possession to the charges after Too Short allegedly tried to dump some drugs in the back seat of the police cruiser.

Too Short, whose birth name is Todd Anthony Shaw, is considered a West Coast hip-hop pioneer.  His last album was 2012's No Trespassing.

Too Short briefly surfaced in the news in February, when he was mistakenly believed to have been involved in a Los Vegas shootout that killed aspiring rapper Kenny Clutch.  Short has also been arrested for DUI at least twice before.
